How to Make

1. Take a piece of red card and sketch out your ‘DAD’ letters with a pencil, making sure that the letters join together. Carefully cut out the shape with scissors.
2. With another piece of red card, sketch out your two earpiece arms then cut these out.
3. Fold the end of each earpiece into a small tab, then stick the tabs down to the back of the ‘DAD’ template using tape.
4. Take some blue cellophane and cut it into small pieces, big enough to cover the middle section of each letter. On the back of the glasses stick the edges of the cellophane pieces to the card using tape.

Top Tip

Ask an adult to cut out the middle section of each letter as this could be hard for a child to do with scissors.
