Alien Cardboard Tube Pencil Holder

How to Make

1. Take your cardboard tube and green glitter felt.
2. Wrap the tube in the self- adhesive felt and then trim off any excess.
3. Then print out the templates and cut your chosen mouth out of glitter felt.
4. Cut the feet and the ears out and stick these on to your alien.
5. Next take two colours of neon pipe cleaners cut them in half and twist the two colours together to make the eyestalk /antenna.
6. If you like you can curl these by wrapping, then around a pencil and then removing the pencil carefully.
7. Add pompoms to the eyestalks and Stick on some glow in the dark wiggle eyes, you can stick these on the cardboard tube and/or on to the eyestalks if you wish.

Top Tip

Use different heights of cardboard tubes to make a whole alien family!
