- To make the star candles choose two different coloured wax sheets from the candle making kit and cut out three different sized stars from each colour using cookie cutters or a blunt knife.
- Stack the stars up so that the colours and points alternate and the smallest stars are at the top. (pic a)
- Push a darning needle through the stack of stars. Remove, and carefully push a length of wick into the hole. Trim so that 1cm sticks out the top. (pic b)
- To make the striped candles cut several colours of wax sheet into 4.5cm squares using a blunt knife. (pic c)
- Carefully push the squares into the glass candle holder and press down around all the edges so there are no air bubbles.
- Push a darning needle through the wax and insert a wick as before (see step 3). (pic d)
