- Cut out small flower shapes from two different colours of felt and place them either side of the ribbon loop on the purse.
- Choose two small coloured buttons and sew through these to fix the flowers to the ribbon. (pic a)
- Cut more flowers from felt. Use running stitch to sew a flower to the purse by stitching around the edge: use contrasting thread for a pretty effect. (pic b)
- Sew a button on to the centre of the flower.
- Place a second flower by the first so it slightly overlaps and sew in place as before. (pic c)
- Continue until the purse is covered with pretty blooms.
