- Paint a wooden person frame with white acrylic paint and leave to dry. Trace around the bottom half of the frame onto the back of a piece of white sticky foam.
- Cut out a body shape that will cover up most of the legs and fix the foam over the bottom of the frame, leaving the backing paper in place where it sticks out from the sides.
- Cut out a waistcoat shape from red foam and fix to the body, then add some tiny black foam buttons. (pic a)
- Cut out some mittens from blue sticky foam and fix to the hands. Add stripes with a very thin strip of yellow foam trimmed to the edges of the mittens. (pic b)
- Cut out a scarf shape from green foam and use a hole punch to make lots of little pink dots for decoration. Snip the ends of the scarf to make fringing and fix this to the snowman’s neck. (pic c)
- Make a top hat from black foam that will sit neatly on the head. Use the hole punch to make tiny holly leaves and berries and decorate the hat with these. (pic d)
