- Press out the small butterfly and flower pieces from the mobile kit and draw round two flowers in pencil onto the door hanger.
- Use brightly coloured acrylic to paint the front, back and sides of the door hanger and use a different colour for the flowers. (pic a)
- Use white paint to spell out ‘dad’s shed’ around the flowers and then varnish both sides of the door hanger to make it weatherproof. (pic b)
- Paint the shapes from the mobile kit in different colours and varnish them when dry.
- Cut out body shapes from self-adhesive foam and add some tiny wiggle-eyes. Stick these to the middle of the butterfly shapes. (pic c)
- Use PVA to glue the shapes to the door hanger, adding circles of self-adhesive foam to the centres of the flowers. (pic d)
