- Paint the insides and top edge of each drawer with a dark coloured paint that matches a colour of foam you are using. (pic a)
- Paint the outside of the chest with two or three different contrasting colours then decorate with pearlised sparkle pens. (pic b)
- Cut some strips of self-adhesive foam the same colour as the inside of the drawers and about 7mm wide.
- Stick the strips inside the drawers so that they form a ledge around the inside of the base. (pic c)
- Measure the dimensions of the inside of the drawers and cut three rectangles of foam the same colour as the sticky strips, leaving a semicircular tab on the long edge of each piece.
- Write your messages on small pieces of paper and fold them up. Place them in the bottom of the drawer and fit the foam fake drawer bottom on top of the shelf inside. (pic d)
