1. Use a pencil to lightly sketch a 6cm diameter circle in the middle of a mini plate then dot orange glitter paint over this line.
  2. Use a green glitter pen to draw short lines dividing the edge of the plate into eighths. Turn these lines into tree shapes. (pic a)
  3. Draw a line around the circumference of the mug, 2.5cm down from the top and cover with orange dots. Draw trees around the top edge as before. (pic b)
  4. Add different coloured lines of dots on either side of the original lines on both the plate and mug. Write ‘thank you Santa’ in the centre of the plate using purple paint. (pic c)
  5. Check the trees are completely dry and then add red dots to them to make baubles and a spot of orange to the top for a star.
  6. Use a silver paint pen to draw six pointed snowflakes between the trees and add a dot of turquoise to the end of each point.
