- Draw around a beaker several times onto a sheet of honeycomb paper then carefully cut out the circles. (pic a)
- Turn the circles so the glued lines run horizontally and draw a line down the centre of each one before cutting in half. (pic b)
- Take each half and brush some PVA glue along the straight edge and allow to dry. (pic c)
- Take a length of stretchy cord and tie a metallic bead to one end. Thread on 8 or 9 more metallic beads and tie a knot just above them.
- Tape the cord to the glued spine of each half circle then open out each one. Glue to form a ball shape. (pic d)
- Paint two garden canes with white acrylic and glue together in a cross. Tie the colourful balls to the centre and each end of the cross. Tie some more cord to the top of the mobile to hang up.
