- Draw around a plate onto white card and cut out a third of the circle. Glue patterned paper onto the card (you could use wrapping paper) and trim round the shape. (pic a)
- Carefully roll the card into a cone shape and glue, holding in place with a peg if necessary. (pic b)
- Cut a piece of icicle border long enough to fit round the top of the cone.
- Score and fold a line 1cm down from the top of the icicle border and glue tinsel to the edge of the fold. (pic c)
- Fit the icicles over the top of the cone and glue in place. Cut a strip of card, cover with paper and glue to the inside of the cone to make a hanging handle. (pic d)
- Decorate the cone with lots of snowflake jewels glued on with PVA and fill with sweets before hanging on the tree. Why not make one for each member of your family, and pop in their favourite treats?
