- Apply gold paint to the front of a large craft frame using a small piece of sponge to create a mottled effect.
- Cut a 10cm square of iridescent film and spread a thin layer of PVA glue all over the surface. Cut a square of coloured tissue, crumple and flatten and place on the glue.
- Brush more PVA glue over the tissue and lay a different colour of crumpled paper over the top and smooth flat. Leave to dry. (pic a)
- Cut some leaf shapes from card and use as templates to draw around onto the dried tissue layers. Cut out the shapes with small scissors. (pic b)
- Fold the cut out leaves to create a veined pattern so they become three dimensional. Long narrow leaves need only one crease down the centre. (pic c)
- Glue the leaves to the frame with more PVA glue by spreading glue on the edges of the creases and overlapping the leaves. (pic d)
