- Use white acrylic paint to cover the ‘pages’ area of the keepsake book, inside and out, and leave to dry.
- Take a sheet of red paper and glue to the cover of the book, folding in the sides and trimming to size before gluing to the inside of the cover. (pic a)
- Cut some strips of silver and blue glitter sheets and wrap these around the cover of the book at the top and bottom. (pic b)
- Add a line of gold glitter dots above and below the glitter strips and allow to dry completely.
- Draw a decorative crown onto the back of a piece of gold card. Cut out the centre pieces first with small scissors. (pic c)
- Decorate the crown with red and silver gemstones arranged in a symmetrical pattern and glue to the centre of the book cover. (pic d)
