- Roll out half a block of Fimo onto a flat surface to make a long thin rectangle. Neaten the edges with a table knife and make sure it will be long enough to wrap around a glass nightlight holder.
- While the clay is flat, use a knitting needle to make little dots along both long edges. Roll out a different coloured clay into a long thin sausage and place this over the strip in a wavy line. (pic a)
- Carefully lift the strip from the flat surface using a palette knife. Wrap the clay around the middle of a glass holder and trim where the ends meet. (pic b)
- Take a little green clay and mould into a flat leaf shape. Use your finger and thumb to make points all around the edge to look like holly. Make two more leaves like this. (pic c)
- Press the ends of the three leaves together to make a sprig of holly and press this onto the join of the clay strip around the nightlight. Roll bits of purple Fimo into balls and attach to holly as berries. (pic d)
- Put the nightlight into a cold oven and then heat up to 110oC. Bake the nightlight for 30 minutes and allow it to cool slowly before removing it from the oven.
