- Remove the back of the wooden frame and paint the front and sides with two coats of red acrylic paint. Leave to dry. (pic a)
- Cut lots of short pieces of coloured ribbon and trim a fishtail shape into one end of each.
- Use double-sided tape to fix the ribbons to the back of the frame making sure you don’t overlap the hole where the picture goes. (pic b)
- Thread some heart beads in three different colours onto two lengths of white elastic. Knot the ends leaving about 5cm of spare elastic and trim closely to the knots. (pic c)
- Fold the pieces of elastic in half so the spare thread is in the middle and tie into a tassel.
- Fix the tassel to the bottom of the frame with double-sided tape. Use a gold acrylic Deco pen to write ‘LOVE’ all around the front of the frame. (pic d)
