- Cut a piece of foam 15cm by 10cm and fold it in half. Cut a head shape on one side of the piece, leaving a 4cm wide strip to make the body.
- Unfold the foam and punch several holes in the top of the head. Punch two holes at each end of the strip and two more under each side of the neck. (pic a)
- Roll in one side of the body strip until the holes at the end and under the neck line up. Thread half a pipe cleaner through each of the holes to hold the body shape in place and create the alien’s limbs. (pic b)
- Cut some 10cm lengths of chenille and thread through the holes in the head to make a weird hairstyle.
- Stick coloured pompoms on the ends of each pipe cleaner. Use small pompoms for the hands and larger ones for the feet. (pic c)
- Add an odd number of wiggle-eyes and a smile cut from pink foam. (pic d)
