- Fold a piece of A4 card down the middle and draw a 4cm wide border on one inside half to make a frame shape. (pic a)
- Cover the outside of this half of the card with a piece of self-adhesive foam trimmed to size and carefully cut out the rectangle at the centre. (pic b)
- Paste some PVA glue along one edge of the centre of the frame and begin sticking foam squares in alternating colours down this line. Try and make sure that you end up with a whole square at the corners.
- Once you’ve gone all the way round the centre of the frame use different colours to make the next row of foam squares. (pic c)
- Layer foam flower shapes of different colours on top of one another and stick with PVA. Glue these around the outside of the frame so they overlap the edges. (pic d)
- Place your photo in the frame and glue the folded card over the back. Use the rectangle you cut from the middle of the frame and fix the top edge to the back of the finished frame to make a stand.
