- Cut six different colours of tissue paper into 12cm squares. Stack up the squares, alternating the colours and cut into four smaller squares. (pic a)
- Cutting several small squares at once, make circles from the tissue. Fold each circle in half and gently gather up the folded side. (pic b & c)
- Pierce the gathers with a darning needle threaded with coloured stretchy cord with a bead tied to the end. (pic d)
- Thread on two more gathered circles and fan them out to make a complete circle.
- Add a coloured bead before threading on three more tissue paper pieces.
- Continue in this way until the garland is long enough to fit over your head and tie the two ends of elastic together.
