- Mix up some pink acrylic paint and give a heart shaped box and it’s lid two coats of paint. (pic a)
- Cut a 1cm wide strip of red self-adhesive foam with zigzag scissors and fix around the box lid. Cut a 3mm strip of white foam with straight scissors and stick over the top. (pic b)
- Cut a piece of pink self-adhesive foam, 6cm x 2cm, and snip a fine fringe 1.5cm into one side. Fix this in a ‘circle’ on the top of the box lid.
- Cut a piece of red foam the same size, and then snip the same sort of fringe. Wrap around the end of a red pipe-cleaner, tying in place with strong thread.
- Cut a flower shape from pink foam, then make a small cross in the middle and push up the pipe-cleaner onto the base of the fringing. (pic c)
- Make some more flowers this way. Trim the stems to 3cm and push them all through the centre of a small circle of foam. Bend the ends of the stems flat and glue the bouquet to the top of the box lid. (pic d)
