Father’s Day Card

Trace the shirt template provided onto a sheet of blue card and carefully cut out. (pic a)
Stick the shirt to the centre of a white card blank. Using a black marker pen, draw on a collar at the top of the shirt, and a coat hanger across the ‘neck’ of the shape. (pic b)
Glue three mini yellow buttons vertically down the front of the shirt shape, lining them up with the collar. (pic c)
Stick mini green buttons around the bottom and sides of the card, ensuring they are equally spaced out, to create a border. To finish, write ‘Happy Father’s Day’ at the top of the card using a black marker pen. (pic d)

Stars & Planets Mobile

Take two wooden skewers and use cord to bind them together in the centre to form a cross shape. Add a dab of glue to the knot to make it more secure. (pic a)
Add marbling ink to a tub of water and swirl with the end of a pencil to make a pattern. Put a polystyrene ball on the end of a skewer then dip into the marbling ink. Decorate a selection of balls of various sizes, using a combination of colours. Ensure you make four extra small ones to add to the ends of your mobile. (pic b)
Once the ink has dried remove the skewers. Cut a long piece of cord, loop one end then feed this into the hole left by the stick. If you find this tricky, use the end of the skewer to push it further through. Add a dot of glue in the hole to secure. Make some star decorations by securing elastic between star foam stickers. (pic c)
Add all the planet and star shapes to your mobile, dabbing glue to the knots to secure. Add the extra balls to the ends of the mobile structure. Finally, cut a length of ribbon and loop it around the cross in the centre. Take the backing off two large foam star stickers and sandwich the ribbon in between them, close to the cross. (pic d)

Print out our templates and draw round each letter onto coloured felt sheets. Alternate the colours: we have used Red, White and Blue felt. (pic a)
Carefully cut out each letter from the felt sheets. (pic b)
Glue the letters onto blue card, and then cut out leaving a border. (pic c)
Cut a long piece of blue ribbon, loop one end then use tape to attach the loop to the back of the ‘G’. Tape on the remaining letters below. Hang several around your room, and start cheering! (pic d)

Beautiful Bug Card

Cut out two rounded triangle flower shapes from pink card and a circle from blue card using the templates provided. Snip into the curved side of the pink shapes and all around the outside edge of the blue shape to create a fringed effect. (pic a)
Take a white card blank, or make one from white card, and stick the three fringed shapes to the front, halfway up the card, with the blue flower in the centre. Draw on a green stem for each bloom with a fibre tip pen. (pic b)
Add a dragonfly sticker to the top left corner of the card, just above the pink bloom, and a caterpillar to the bottom left, beneath the flowers. (pic c)
Decorate the centre and outside fringed edges of the blue circle with a blue PicTixx 3D Glitter pen, and dot on pink PicTixx 3D Glitter pen across the middle of the pink blooms. Draw a turquoise swirly trail beneath the dragonfly sticker, then write ‘it’s a bug’s life!’ in black pen in the top right of the card. (pic d)

Doily Flowers

Cut a slit up to the solid centre of a doily then snip out the middle section. (pic a)
Fold the remaining doily as if you were making a fan, creasing down then folding upwards slightly further on. Stick the ends together with double-sided tape when you have finished folding. (pic b)
Take a doily of another colour then stick the folded shape in the middle using double sided tape. (pic c)
Cut a flower from the edge of a third doily and stick double-sided tape to the back. Fix in the centre of your bloom, sandwiching a wooden skewer between the two layers. (pic d)

Football Theatre

Glue green felt onto A4 card and cut away any overhanging felt. On the reverse, measure 3cm up on either corner of each side with a ruler. Make a pencil mark then draw lines to join up all the markings: you should be left with a grid. Cut diagonally from each corner to the point where the lines cross. Score along the lines then fold and stick the corner flaps together. (pic a)
Stick two pieces of yellow card together to make one piece 50cm long. Cut a 15cm x 20cm panel from the centre. Score and fold each section either side of the opening. (pic b)
Add thin strips of self-adhesive foam horizontally either side of the opening. Draw a crowd scene in between each one using fibre tip pens. Decorate the top with black foam, football stickers and use foam letters to spell out ‘Football Theatre’. Add more football stickers below the crowds then use a stapler to attach this piece to the football pitch. (pic c)
Make puppets by gently pushing skewers through footballer foam stickers (ask an adult to help if this is fiddly). Dab glue on the protruding ends of the skewers to secure. Add a football puppet and you’re ready to go! (pic d)

Daffodil Plant Poke

Cut a daffodil base from yellow card measuring 10cm across. (pic a)
Draw a circle with a 5cm diameter onto orange card and trim around it with wave patterned scissors. (pic b)
Use a green 3D glitter pen to write ‘Happy St David’s Day’ on the orange disc. Add dots around the words using a gold glitter pen. (pic c)
Once the glitter has dried, use glue dots to attach a green wooden craft stick to the middle of the yellow shape, towards the bottom. Stick the orange circle on top using more glue dots. (pic d)

St David’s Day Card

Cut three daffodil shapes from yellow paper, making each one a different size. Take a yellow doily and snip a section from the edge, carefully bend into a cupped shape and secure the ends with glue. (pic a)
Cut four slits at the base of the shape to make tabs then fold each one inwards so you can use the tabs to stick the cup to the centre of the petals. Create two more doily cups, ensuring they fit into the centre of the petal bases. Stick each one down. (pic b)
Score and fold blue card to make a blank and stick spring ribbon down the spine. Cut a tag shape from green card measuring 10cm long and 6.5cm at its widest point. Make a smaller cream one and glue on top. Use foam letters to spell out ‘Happy St David’s Day’ on the tag. Staple some matching ribbon to the tag then glue it to the top left of the card. (pic c)
Cut three different lengths of green satin ribbon and stick vertically to the card. Add the daffodils on top. Decorate the flowers with gold glitter glue then draw some grass at the base of the card using a 3D pen. (pic d)

Welsh Dragon Crown

Download our template, print out onto card then use it to draw a dragon shape onto red foam. (pic a)
Carefully cut out the dragon using sharp scissors, asking an adult to help if it is tricky. (pic b)
Measure around your head to find the circumference. Add an extra centimetre or two to this measurement, then cut a band of green foam to this length. You may need to cut more than one foam strip. (pic c)
Stick the ends of the foam together with glue dots then add the dragon to the centre. Position so the dragon is covering a join for a neat finish. (pic d)

Jubilee Card

Cut a piece of metallic blue card to 10cm by 21cm and fold in half. Carefully place strips of double sided tape around the edges of the card to make a border. (pic a)
Place the card on a sheet of clean paper and peel off the backing paper from the tape. Sprinkle liberally with red glitter and shake off the excess onto the paper so it can be put back in the canister. (pic b)
Use white foam letters to spell out ‘Jubilee’ or the name of your guest. If you don’t have enough letters, fix a rectangle of white self-adhesive foam to the centre of the card and write on it using a permanent pen. (pic c)
Decorate the rest of the card with an assortment of glittery firework and star stickers in red, white and blue. (pic d)
