1. Paint some polystyrene eggs with two coats of acrylic paint, mixing the colours to make a brighter shade if desired, and leave to dry. (pic a)
  2. Fix self-adhesive border outline stickers onto the eggs to make symmetrical patterns all around them. (pic b)
  3. Place flower gemstones in between the border strips, pressing down hard to ensure they stick firmly to the rounded surface of the egg. (pic c)
  4. Add large and small flower sequins by gluing in place with PVA. Leave to dry.
  5. Cut a 2.5cm strip of coloured card and glue into a ring holding in place with a peg until the glue dries. (pic d)
  6. Decorate this ring with gemstones and flower sequins to create a pretty stand for the egg.
