- Paint some polystyrene eggs with two coats of acrylic paint, mixing the colours to make a brighter shade if desired, and leave to dry. (pic a)
- Fix self-adhesive border outline stickers onto the eggs to make symmetrical patterns all around them. (pic b)
- Place flower gemstones in between the border strips, pressing down hard to ensure they stick firmly to the rounded surface of the egg. (pic c)
- Add large and small flower sequins by gluing in place with PVA. Leave to dry.
- Cut a 2.5cm strip of coloured card and glue into a ring holding in place with a peg until the glue dries. (pic d)
- Decorate this ring with gemstones and flower sequins to create a pretty stand for the egg.
