1. Cut some 1cm wide strips lengthwise from coloured card and glue these to a piece of bright A4 orange card, leaving a thin gap between each strip. (pic a)
  2. Use a piece of spare card to cut an egg shaped template and trace around this onto the striped piece of card.
  3. Cut out several egg shapes from the striped card and ensure that all the strips are still glued in place. (pic b)
  4. Fold a piece of bright green card in half and glue together. Leave to dry. Draw two concentric circles in the middle of the card and cut out to make a ring. (pic c)
  5. Glue the egg shapes around the circumference of the ring at different angles.
  6. Use PVA Glue to stick foam flowers between the eggs and add a loop of ribbon to the back of the ring to hang. (pic d)
