- Draw an eagle shape (see template) onto brown foam and cut out using sharp scissors. (pic a)
- Cut out one large pair, and a smaller pair, of feathers from yellow self-adhesive foam that will fit into the wings of the eagle. Make sure that you flip your templates over so the shapes are mirrored.
- Place some newspaper on your work surface and spray the feather pieces with gold metallic paint. (pic b)
- When dry, fix the feathers to the eagle shape, making sure they are symmetrical. (pic c)
- Use a red metallic 3D paint pen to draw feathers on the body of the bird and add a beak and eye detail. (pic d)
- Use a gold glitter pen to add decoration to the rest of the standard.
