- Mix up some pink acrylic paint and cover the front of the dreamcatcher frame with two coats of paint. (pic a)
- Paint the centre piece of the dreamcatcher in a darker shade of pink and lay the two pieces flat on a table in the position they will be threaded together.
- Tape a length of pink stretchy cord to the back of the frame and begin joining the centre piece to it by threading through the holes. Tie a bead onto your thread every other hole and tie the ends of the thread together at the end. (pic b)
- Cut the fluffy part of a white feather in half along the quill and glue the halves in a circle to the centre of a large pink foam heart. Cover the centre with a stack of layered hearts in other colours. (pic c)
- Knot a piece of cord and thread two beads onto it. Put some glue on the end of a feather and push it through the beads on the same side as the knot.
- Leave to dry before adding foam hearts and more beads to the cord. Tie the feathered cords to the bottom of the dreamcatcher frame. (pic d)
