- Draw a line 5mm from the edge of the heart shaped hole and draw another line around the frame to make borders.
- Slip a piece of scrap card inside the frame and paint the borders in orange acrylic and the background in bright red, using two coats if necessary. (pic a)
- Using a pearlised sparkle Deco pen or glitter glue, colour around the outer border and add two rows of red glitter dots around the heart shape. (pic b)
- Shape a ball of clay about the size of a large marble and make a slot in one side with a table knife. Push a cocktail stick into the slot and through the ball.
- Use your fingers to shape the clay into a heart around the stick and leave to dry. Colour the dried hearts with two coats of red paint and add some glitter. (pic c)
- Slide the hearts off the stick and thread onto elastic with small beads. Make three holes in the base of the frame and knot the elastic through them. (pic d)
