Cut some yellow card to A5 size and fold in half to make a blank. Cut a piece of green card to look like blades of grass and glue this to the yellow card (use our template). (pic a)

Use a sharp pencil or hole punch to make two small holes at the top left of the card, on the grass. Cut around the grass shape, leaving a 3mm border of yellow card. (pic b)

Thread a piece of ribbon through the two small holes. Cut out some more smaller pieces of grass from card and fix to the bottom of the card with glue dots so they stand out from the background. Decorate with foam bug stickers. (pic c)

Cut a piece of coloured card the same size as the keyring insert. Cut a slightly smaller piece of different coloured card and glue to the centre. Add your message and some decoration with coloured pens and fit into the keyring. Tie the finished keyring to the card with the ribbon and add a cute bug sticker. (pic d)

Cut three egg shapes from yellow felt (see template) and mark the centre point at the top and bottom ends of each with pencil. Place two shapes together and use blanket stitch to sew along one side between the marks.

Fold one egg shape back on itself and place the third oval on top. Stitch this to both egg shapes as before, leaving a small gap on one side. Fill the shape with fibre stuffing, packed in tightly, and sew up the gap. (pic a)

Choose two small matching buttons and sew these at the top of one side of the stuffed shape to make eyes. Use contrasting coloured thread for a folksy look.

Cut out an egg shape from spare card and using as a template, cut out an egg shape from rolled out Fimo. Place the Fimo egg onto a baking tray.

Roll out some Fimo in a different colour and using a ruler and knife, cut some wide stripes. Lay these over the egg shape and trim at the edges. (pic a)

Roll out some more colours of Fimo and cut thinner stripes, laying these between the wider ones. Use a pencil to make a small hole at the top of the egg for hanging. (pic b)

Roll small balls of yellow clay and some small teardrop shapes from white clay and make some flowers. Arrange these flowers along two of the stripes on your egg. (pic c)

Add some more balls of Fimo for extra decoration. Bake the egg in the oven for 30 minutes on a very low heat (see manufacturer’s instructions).

When cool, lift from the baking tray and thread a length of narrow ribbon through the hole. Try making several different colours for a decorative display!
