<li>Cut a body shape and two feet from green card. Place a wiggle-eye on one side of  the body and add dots of  yellow paint with a cotton bud. <strong>(pic b)</strong></li>
<li>Use a blue metallic pen to fill in the spaces between the paint with lots of smaller dots on both the body and the feet.</li>
<li>Gently stretch out the legs and glue the feet into the pockets at the end of the concertina.<strong> (pic c)</strong></li>

<li>Fold an A5 piece of black card in half and sketch out a curvy bat wing shape so the centre of  the wings fall on the fold.</li>
<li>Cut around the guidelines with scissors, unfold the wings and rub out any pencil lines.<strong> (pic b)</strong></li>
<li>Use a fine gold pen to draw curved lines from each wing tip to the centre. Add a line of  dots around the edges and draw the same pattern on the other side of the card. <strong>(pic c)</strong></li>
<li>Pierce two small holes either side of the fold and thread a 50cm length of gold cord through both, knotting at the ends to form a hanging loop.</li>

<li>Soften half a sheet of red and half a sheet of yellow wax for a few minutes by placing them on a plate near a warm radiator, or by squeezing them between your warm hands.</li>
<li>Mix the two colours by kneading them together until you get orange wax. Use half of this amount to make one pumpkin and roll into a ball between your hands.</li>
<li>Use a knitting needle to make a hole down the centre of the ball and thread a piece of wick into the hole. Use the side of the needle to make grooves down the sides of the ball. <strong>(pic a)</strong></li>
<li>Soften some green wax sheet and roll into a small ball. Flatten this between your fingers and use the needle to make indentations all round to form leaves. <strong>(pic b)</strong></li>

<li>Draw around a mask onto the back of a piece of brown self-adhesive foam. Mark out the eyes and draw around a penny in the same place to make two small eyes. Cut out and stick the foam to the mask. <strong>(pic a)</strong></li>
<li>Cut a leaf shaped piece of orange sticky foam and fold in half before removing the top part of the backing and fixing above the nose area.</li>
<li>Cut some red and orange feathers in half. Place some double sided tape below the eyes and stick the feathers to this so they hang down from the mask. <strong>(pic b)</strong></li>
<li>Add the other half of the feathers to the ear part of the mask. Cut some small feather shapes from brown and red self adhesive foam cut into each side to make the feathers. <strong>(pic c)</strong></li>
<li>Remove a 1cm long piece of the backing paper and place the foam feathers over the ends of the real feathers to neaten the mask.</li>
<li>Cut a piece of black sticky foam 2cm wide by 20cm long, and cut a fringe into one side. Cut in half and use to edge the eye sockets of the mask. Add dots of gold glitter glue to finish. <strong>(pic d)</strong></li>

<li>Roll some white clay into a ball between your hands. Press a small orange disc onto the surface and use a tiny dot of black for the pupil. <strong>(pic c)</strong></li>
<li>Make holes through the eyeball beads by slowly pushing a cocktail stick through the centre. <strong>(pic d)</strong></li>
<li>Cook the clay for 30 minutes at 110<sup>o</sup>C and let cool. Thread gold cord through the holes and knot to make necklaces and pendants.</li>

<li>Cut a 15cm by 6cm rectangle of black felt and snip one edge into zigzags. Fix the other side onto a thinner strip of sticky felt, gathering it as you go to make a skirt. Wrap the skirt around the body using the sticky felt strip.<strong> (pic d)</strong></li>
<li>Cut two arms from black felt and fix to the back of the body. Decorate the witch by gluing iridescent stars to her dress and hat. Feed the stick through the hole at the base of the cone to complete the puppet.</li>
