1. Cover a design-your-own candy cone card shape with sticky foam leaving 2cm uncovered along one edge and cutting the tip of the cone away. (pic a)
  2. Cut several heart shapes from a contrasting colour and fix these all along the edge of the curve. (pic b)
  3. Punch holes in the cone between each heart. Roll up the cone and check where to punch holes for the hanging ribbons. (pic c)
  4. Take a long piece of elastic and fix to the back of the cone with tape. Thread the loose end through the first hole and thread on one large pearlised bead, then one small bead, three large beads, and finally one small bead.
  5. Thread the elastic back through the first large bead and back through the first hole to make a loop. Thread the elastic through the second hole and make another loop of beads as before. (pic d)
  6. Continue making loops all along the edge before securing the elastic with tape. Use double-sided tape to fix the card into a cone shape and tie ribbons through the holes to hang up.
