- Make a paper template of an elongated oval shape for the penguin’s body.
- Pin this to a double layer of black felt and cut out. (pic a)
- Cut a piece of white felt to be the face and bib of the penguin and stitch a small orange triangle to this as a beak.
- Sew the bib to the centre of one piece of black felt with a small running stitch. (pic b)
- Add wiggle-eyes to the face and cut out two small orange felt feet. Pin the two body pieces together, sandwiching the feet between them and sew up. (pic c)
- Stop sewing when you have a 3cm gap left. Stuff the penguin with fibre filling and close up the hole. (pic d)

I think all your ideas are fab but was just wondering if you could provide the templates to dowm load as I am awful at drawing.
