- Paint the keepsake book with two coats of acrylic paint, coloured for the outside and white for the ‘pages’ and inside. (pic a)
- Pencil the title of your book on the front cover and paint over with white paint. Leave to dry completely before rubbing away the pencil marks.
- Cut a piece of white card and a piece of coloured card in half length-ways. Fold each piece in half and fold the halves back on themselves to make a zigzag. (pic b)
- Draw frames onto some sections of the white card. Place animal stickers in the corners of the frames and carefully cut out the middles, edging them with peel-off border stickers. Leave some sections blank. (pic c)
- Glue the folds of the coloured card to the back of the folds of the white card, leaving the first white section out so the coloured card acts as a joining piece for the next piece of white card. (pic d)
- Glue the first white section of card into the lid of the keepsake box so when it is opened the album concertinas out. Decorate the edges of the box with peel-off border stickers so it looks like a real book.
